About the Community Garden

Granton Hub Community Garden was created as a shared green space for local residents, supporting wildlife, growing projects, and community activities.

The garden occupied part of the historic Madelvic Works site, once home to one of Britain’s early electric vehicle pioneers. While the factory buildings are now largely derelict and the wider site is scheduled for redevelopment, the garden represented a temporary but valuable community use during the site’s transition.

This website is a personal photographic archive documenting the plants, wildlife, and people who helped shape the garden.
